Throughout the camps we strive to show you some of the best that Colombia has to offer, while at the same time challenge you as a bike rider. Today Colombia has a great infrastructure, where the roads have been greatly improved. There are good lodging and cuisine, plus incredibly beautiful scenery throughout all our camps. At your stay in Bogota, we will take you riding to some beautiful areas surrounding the capital, such as El Vino, Pradera, and Guatavita.

The camps will formally start on a Friday and end on a Saturday. During your first weekend at the camp you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with some incredible places in Colombia such as Monserrate, Minas de Zipaquira (a church built in a salt mine), and Laguna de Guatavita (the legend of El Dorado was born here). We will take you to the Gold museum, where you can see some of the gold that was taken from that lake. In Bogotá you can enjoy an incredible international cuisine, or you could try typical local dishes such as Mondongo, Caldo de Gallina, Bandeja Paisa, or Plato de sobrebarriga.  They are all delicious and we highly recommend that you try some of them. Also, in Bogotá you will find great malls, parks and other tourist attractions, which could make this week a very memorable one.

Rene,

It was a true pleasure riding with you as well.  The camp was awesome ... far exceeding my expectations.  The group of riders that you connected me with made the ride even better... they are great riders and great people to be around -- a true pleasure.

I will definitely stay in touch.

Best Regards,
Joe Flanegan
